od light flashing kzn130

been driving new truck for 3 weeks now. now the od light started flashing. i did find a wee switch when i was cleaning it out conected to speedo that i turned off for a bit to see what it did could this be conected

If they are anything like a Pajero I would say yes the two are related. A Pajero auto will not go into od unless the engine has reached a certain temp and it is going over a certain speed (80km/h I think)

You have an issue with the trans .
Put it into diagnostics mode & read the flash code.

still goes into od with switch off

how do i do the code thing on these? done on other cars that you just join to plugs is this the same, if so what colour plug i looking for.

Having no speedo working will cause your O/D light to flash
Does it work fine with the speedo working?

cool seems to be just the switch causin it as when you turn it back on it goes away. just seamed odd that i could drive it round with it off and not have light on then then it would ramdomly come on.
