Hey, You do realize Navara and Terrano have different length torsion bars?
Could be keen on the upper control arms.
I say split them up and don't muck around with their removal. Sounds like in the auction, that you want someone to pay for them and you MAY get around to removing and sending........Van Reins

Cheers,
I keep looking for the loose nut behind the wheel, but I can't find it!!

No I wouldn't want anyone to pay for them until they are removed that would just be a bit crazy, (would be removed, cleaned, photo up, sold, money in, parts sent) really just seeing who's keen on what so I know what to list as I disassemble the front end or to just leave listing as is. that way I can list as I go
wasn't aware of the terrano length difference though thanks

Cool front end, I saw your thread on NTR.

Out of interest, did the Calmini UCAs try to smash into the shock absorbers at full droop?

Somebody should snap these up, def. one of Calminis better products. And when you consider that Calmini relies on brand recognition to command a silly high price (like Warn). Though the Calminis stand out like dogs balls so I imagine cert. would be necessary (right right we're all certed anyway for all of our mods, of course)

Rough Country/Superlift/Calmini UCAs work wonders on these vehicles.

At full drop they defanitly touch the shocky dust boots but never the body or shocky steem. They are good done the trick for me but like many others I just wanted more and more and before you know it you find yourself collecting parts to build a SAS.
Yep itl be needing a good cert for next wof

Good for you
I'm sure plenty were quick to knock the D30 idea but it actually makes a lot of sense.

Yeah exactly you can make a D30 f***ng strong and not that expensive.

Plus since its from a XJ its already set up for coils and that sweet 3-link which for me would be the reason for SASing - triple the front wheel travel

Plus no cut and flip /reverse rotation strength issues which kind of let down the otherwise excellent Toyota 8" front.

I see the D30 as being like the Nissan R180. A good design but low tolerance for overloading/exceeding its designed duty.

Like you say can get other axles etc for them as well. I've been an automotive engineer for 10yrs going on 15yrs and most diff failures are due to doing something stupid or maintenance issues or more to the point lack of maintenance. Dana30s they have a few old school ideas but thats ok universal joints, but can get greasable ones and unit bearing wheel bearings but up side to that is can carry a spare and they just bolt in. I haven't got big tyres yet so don't see it being a problem in the short term dana rate them up to 33" tyres
