1991 terreno sprrdo cable remove and replace how

the speedo cable in broken that inside bit that fits into the tail thing underfloor
now i unscrewed that end so its off how do i ud plug the other end is it all under the dash where it unplugs the small cable is brroke not the tube thing it spins in

The other end of the cable goes directly to the speedo console, so you need to remove the plastic trim piece surrounding the speedo, then remove the console and pull the whole unit back to gain access.

I think after 93 they went to electric speedo/speed sensor.

ok undone dash consol pulled cable off speedo how does the cable pull out as its got big conections on both ends there is a small metal screwed plate the cable goes though on the firewall that also stops the removal of cable
