alternator shop ,diagnosis, removal and repair

Hi my FJ62's alternator is on the way out.
Can anyone recommend
1. good toyota parts dealer to source a new one from or a good alternator upgrade for the Petrol 3FE FJ62? (1989 Landcruiser)
2. A good auto electrician that might be able to recondition the old one so I can keep as a spare.
