Post by Sh0tgun »

Anyone got any of these of a 2lte engine?
Looking at turboing my 2.8 3L
Am new to Auckland so don't really know where to find stuff.

1) CT20 Turbo
2) Exhaust Manifold
3) Dump Manifold Off The Turbo
4) Pressure Crossover Pipe with Rubber Couplings
5) Intake tube (low pressure side) with rocker cover vent tube.
6) 90 Degree Elbow Off Low Pressure Side of Turbo

Any help would be much appreciated

Cheers

Anyone else have anything lying around? Or know of someone that has a surf with a cracked head? The last guy i tried told me the parts where mine and then sold them off to someone else without telling me. :(

All ive got lying around after a clean out is the steel pipe from the turbo to the inlet, crossover pipe with "D-TURBO" on it
Not being used but not really worth sending it to you as you can probably pick it up from the same place you get the turbo from.

Thanks for the reply's

Quick question:
Is it worth using the oil cooler plate or just pluming into the alternator feed?
One advantage would be the change to the Z334 filter over the Z9, but is it worth the hassle?

Updated list
1) CT20 Turbo
2) Exhaust Manifold
3) Dump Manifold Off The Turbo
4) Pressure Crossover Pipe with Rubber Couplings
5) Intake tube (low pressure side) with rocker cover vent tube if possible
6) 90 Degree Elbow Off Low Pressure Side of Turbo
7) Thermostat housing complete to where it bolts onto block with lines to turbo if possible
8 ) Oil Cooler Plate

Thanks

the z334 filter is a dual filter. part of it filters very fine particles. however it tends to block up rather quickly.
i run a z9 filter but you need to watch oil pressure as it can block up quicker. but z9's are dirt cheap compared to z334.

the oil feed can be bent to one of the oil connections on the block next to the alternator feed. otherwise you can get new turbo oil fittings which take AN fittings and make your own oil lines.

i think theres two or three locations. move pressure sensor to the rear location and the back of the block.
