Hi Guys
I have been looking for the best way to lift my Vitara 30mm.
There are quite a few options with springs, (cobra, kings, lovels, ect....)
All are quite expensive and very hard to get 2 people to agree on how much lift they actually give and weather or not it makes them drive better or worse on and off road.
So I have been thinking of coil spacers.
15mm in front and 30mm in rear, which will give an even 30mm lift.
Question is, what are the pros and cons of coil spacers? And what are the best coil spacers?
Also, while we're here. Does anyone know of 30mm longer rear shocks, rather than the 50mm longer commy ones.
Look forward to your answers

Re: Pros and Cons of coil spacers
Correct me if I'm wrong but coil spacers need certification where as springs do not. The good thing about the coil spacers is that you get a softer spring, the lifted springs are generally firmer.
Don't know anything about 30mm longer shocks, the 50mm longer ones work well. Only issue there is the spring needs to remain captured at full droop.

Thanks Churchill
Thats good to know.
If spacers require a cert they will end up costing a lot more than springs.

Just keep an eye out for trademe bargings, i picked up some rear EFS 2" springs for $80 and no cert required.
