Seats

Post by Scobby12 »

Hi there,

Bear with me,

My land cruiser has broken seats and iv got replacement seats from a Suzuki,

My question, Do you need to get a cert for the seat if they are mounted to the original rails? It needs steel welded to the seat frame but will bolt to the rails. any help?

o the seat is fitted to unmodified OE seat anchorages, and
o the seatbelt anchorage or operation is not affected, and
o ththe seat components are all OE components from a production vehicle, or of a known and
reputable aftermarket brand, and are not fitted together by welding, and
o the relationship between seat, seat occupant, front airbag and location of the seatbelt seat components are all OE components from a production vehicle
anchorages is not affected
