Has anyone out there made ply or whatever half doors for a 40 and if so any tips or pics would be cool, ta

i made my doors on the 40, just took to them with a 9" where i thought it would look cool 
then welded some steel over the top of the cut off bits to cover up the sharp edges.....looks ok i think
