Need a Defender!

Hey fellas,

I have a bit of a weird request, but I need a land rover defender for an hour. My wife and I are here in the Christchurch area for a few days until the 30th to which we will be flying back to Auckland, and then onto Canada!

The reason:

I have been trying to schedule a land rover off road adventure, with nothing really popping up, and seemingly worth while! But now we are running out of time and thought I would check to see what local fellas might be out there who would be interested in getting there truck a little dirty, obviously not for free!

We are from Canada and on our "Honeymoon", and yes I was allowed to do an off road tour, mostly because it was a gift for our things to do here in New Zealand!

Hopefully someone can help us out!

Geez dude if you only have an hour, a LR is the last thing you need

Seriously though, the short notice limits the options. You could get in a trip up Worsleys (in the city limits), but to make it worth while you will need to be with one of the guys who doesn't mind some arse puckering lines, otherwise it's just a trip up a clay track that has some ruts in it.
You could possibly get someone to give you a skid on the Waimak or Ashley rivers, but once again, time could be against you.

Might need to change your title line so those who can help out, will read this post.
