HELP!

I took my air cleaner out of my 94 V6 surf and put it back in, it now makes a hissing noise like air is escaping. It will kick over and start but then it'll just die... Any ideas of whats going on ?

Sounds like one of your sensor lines has come off ?? where is it hissing from

Its coming from the fuel tank area....

No longer hissing but will run for about 2 seconds then die...

is it possibly unrelated to taking out the air cleaner? maybe your fuel pump died at the same time?

Not sure where the air flow meter is on one of these but I would be looking for leaks on the engine side of that.

Cheers guys, was air flow meter, had shat itself so replaced the whole lot
