70 series brake switch issues

Post by nurse »

Just pulled out my brake switch (switch for brake lights on end of pedal) and it's stuffed

I replaced it about 12 months ago it was clean there was no mud in or near it and it has never been wet,

just wondering if anyone else has had issues or if there may be another reason it keeps blowing brake switches?

Connectors on the plug may need a clean or there may be a short in the wire

Sounds like it could be Chinese shit, I maybe wrong thou. I prefer using secondhand half worn out genuine parts rather than new Chinese crap. Not being rude, it's just that I've had/have nothing but trouble with their cheap imatations
