GPS Tracker

Post by Kezza »

Anyone have a wiring diagram for a gps tracker ? Looking at getting one but as I'm not super flash on the electrical stuff so kinda need to see what I'm getting myself into before I buy it...

Looking at a few on dx.com at the moment but cant see myself being able to do it...

Here are a couple of examples off the net...
Real easy to wire in....
Some use signals from doors too.
Most can connect in a relay to interupt power to fuel pumps etc etc to disable the vehicle.

For basic tracking function you only need to connect the two power wires to a permanently on supply. Some people use the fuel pump interrupt to sound the horn ( useful if you know the vehicle is say in one of several garages). Good luck with the instal.
