Project green turd.

This is the new project "green turd".the plan is to pull out the 3L v6 and fit a 1kz and 4 link the rear and 5 link the front.
What I need to figure out is should I try and mate the mitzi auto to the 1kz or run a surf auto/transfer instead?

Out of interest, what is wrong with the v6. They a good little donk from all reports?

Mainly fuel consumption iv ran 3.8 commy v6z before n they where shit and I just have a feeling this will be they same.have had heaps of diesels and I prefer them.Rich

, not a lot wrong with them or right with them depending on your experience similar kw as 1KZ (Fu-k All), can be tweaked and should be bolt in with no cert :oops:

, forget the cert you will need it anyway. :wink:

with your history you won't keep it long or you will change your mind :roll:

. either way will be a nice Toy.

In the process of replacing wheel bearings/discs/brake pads before west coast trip. Link didn't work but "edit" button has disappeared so can't change link at the mo...Sorting out all the bits to chuck the 1kz in,bought a Warn 8274, plasma rope has just turned up.just need to find time to work on it

It surprised me to

Mate had a auto on 14psi 3inch exhaust and factory intercooler my 1kz surf had a manual pump 14psi 3inch exhaust no intercooler and it was always kneck and kneck between the two, we both ran 33s with matched ratio
