Anzac Weekend Kaikoura

Hi All

just got back from a surpurb weekend in Kaikoura with the Nelson 4wd club, hosted by Karl Townsend (Kaikoura Mountian Safaris) it started on Thursday with an overnight trip into the Clarence reserve, awesome senery from all directions stayed the night in the warden hut and explored the areas over Thursday and Friday. On Saturday we went on a private farms in the ranges south of Kaikoura with awesome veiws inland and out to sea including whales and dolphins absoulty fantastic with some great tracks around the farms. Today was a short trip up Mount Fyfe for some more fantastic veiws inland and to sea with weather that was totaly perfect for the day. Karl gave running commentry throughout the entire weekend with his vast knowledge of the area it made the weekend that much more enjoyable if anyone is looking at exploring the area you cant go past the knowledge and expertise of Karl he can take groups of 4WD's or can take groups in his 80series cruiser or his merc unimog.
