Being that I can't spell to save my self, is there a spell check option available on the forum?
I have noticed that some of the other Forums I have looked at (sorry for not being totally loyal to ORE forum) while setting up my own forum for another hobby, that spell check is an option as part of the posting process.
If it's not I will just have to keep composing my posts in word and using that spell check.
Cheers

Was discussed a long time back,

Just download that thing and put it in IE, really good. I dont have time to install a spell checker in this forum(to old) if I upgrade the site then it will most likely happen but I've got waaaaaaaaaaaaay to much on at the moment to even look at that

What is the big deal with incorrect spelling? most of my spelling mistakes would be typos anyway.

I believe that the main reason would be It makes things easier to read and understand what the person is trying to say
It also improves the look of the site ... ie 4x4 drivers are not a bunch of illiterate dummies

There is no mechanical problem so difficult that it cannot be solved by brute strength and ignorance.

Re: Spell Checker
The Google Toolbar has a spell checker as well as a pop up blocker. It can be downloaded from http://www.google.co.nz
I use this spell checker when posting.

Its built in to Firefox as a matter of course.
Misspelt (or typos) are underlined in red to highlight the perceived error.
