Lost my nuts. (and bolts) help please.

Post by Humble »

Hello, firstly thanks for sighting my post here, I am new to this forum and i am in a spot of trouble. I have a cruiser Prado ex 1994 2L - TE (2.4td) I had my motor block and head reconditioned
long story short I had to move while reinstalling engine , lost half of my bolts so as you can imagine it has been a long slow process putting the motor together. I now have it complete and sitting on mounts in engine bay, I don't have the bell housing or torque converter bolts so i need to buy them, problem being I don't know the size or TPI of the bolts/ nuts.
If you are the man who knows what i am after , please share some knowledge and help a fellow cruiser owner out.
ASAP please I am borrowing a car to get to work , dunnow how long i can keep it up. thank you.

just so you know, the factory bolts that hold the torque convertor to the flex plate are very high spec (strong)... for a reason i'd guess.

Torque converter bolts arent sold in nut and bolt stores Think they are a metric 9mm dont go there, a wrecker would be your best bet as toyota was ex japan and not cheap really a pain in the arse.
