QD32 vs ETI internals

Post by nickmcdonald »

Just out of interest, are there any differences between the non turbo QD32 insides and the factory turbo QD32eti? Does the factory turbo have tougher rods, crank, bearings etc.....?

Not that I am aware of over four platforms the engine has been used in only the last generation was turbo charged in the R50 terrano and Elgrand.

Alot of guys in europe take the intake/exhaust turbo and injector pump from the earlier TD27T and bolt it all on. seems to have good results

Im reasonably sure that the qd32eti uses the zd30 crankshaft. It most certainly has the same amount of flywheel bolts and the journals and bore spacing are the same. The con-rods in the qd32 are the same as nissan turbo rods so you would be fine there. The pistons Im not sure but the precoms are different
