how to fix rear window open close switch

i i am having a few problems with my hilux rear window, i can only open it with the key on the back door and only wide it up with the switch inside the car..
any idea what would stop the switch from not winding it down

Could be the contacts in the front switch, that was the problem with my brothers one. Might pay to give them a clean.

Or replace it with a return to centre switch, thats what I now have mounted up by my right knee works mint.

Yup, pop the switch out pull it apart and clean the contacts.
Apply some contact grease so it works for longer, they fail every couple months usually.
