Stolen 1989 dark grey Hilux Surf

Post by francesco »

Hi everyone!
I'm a new member (and new in NZ too!) and I hope to get a little help just straight away
We are an italian couple, living in Seatoun. We had our much loved Hilux stolen the night between the 4th and the 5th November in front of our place.
It was dark grey, with lift kit, snorkel, bars and its license plate was UA182.

http://www.carjam.co.nz/car/?plate=ua182

If anyone sees it, or sadly the remaining of it, please help us!
My girlfriend was so in love with it and now well, I rented a city car..
Thanks a lot to everyone!!!!!

It was parked in front of the Worser Bay Boating Club. A few hundred metres from Scorching Bay.
My girlfriend is actually having a look towards Red Rocks, Owhiro Bay.
Any idea which areas we should "patrol"?
Thanks guys.

Guys, me and my girlfriend are looking around Wellington asking garages, and car wreckers for infos.
We're committed to offer a reward, but everyone keeps telling us that we should look for it in places where people do offroad.
Now as I stated in this post, we're new here in NZ. We didn't even had a chance to try our baby in Red Rocks, so we don't know good offroad places.
Can you please give me some names so I can go and have a look over the weekend?
Thanks guys.

A look round seaview might be worth it as there was a bunch of dodgy wreckers operating there, odlins road, Mangatuk road, there have been stolen vehicles found in porirua/cannons creek as well.
