LJ71 alternative radiator

Post by bryandc3 »

Hi fellas,
I am after a new radiator for my landcruiser (manual LJ71) I have been quoted over $450 for one....
So my question is has anyone else replaced theirs and found the same problem, so put an alternative radiator in and if so what did you use? Cheers guys

What so special about them...gold plated?

nissan boys use ford falcon coolers and fans

as for the prado/crusier
same getup as the 97- 05 hilux/ surf there are a couple on TM at the mo from $99 to $350.

anything more then that i'd start thinking about an all alloy aftermarket job.
Waiter...there is a drought in my glass.

I recently got my LJ radiator recored, at around $600.
Can't get new replacement off the shelf. KZJ ones are different, and the Surf ones as you have found out have the outlets on the wrong sides, I think the dimensions are wrong also.
