Re: Wanted.....locker or tight LSD for 70 series cruiser
I have a 4.88 rear e-locker from a 1992 lj71 for sale if thats any good to you?
Re: Wanted.....locker or tight LSD for 70 series cruiser
Hi, I will look into it to see if it will fit and check the ratios.....what type of locker? Where are you located?
Re: Wanted.....locker or tight LSD for 70 series cruiser
Don't think the LJ71 diff will fit the 1990 70 landcruiser... I think that model runs the larger diff heads...Full floater rear axle....
Also the e locker bolt / flange pattern is different to a std diff...

Take a photo of the rear diff hub
Imho i think you have a semi float axle which means that the only real option is a 3 spider ARB air locker.
Good strong units but they have little issues
Or
Replace axle with a full floater unit then you can fit a lsd auto locker maneul locker or what ever you else you can get your hands onto
Second option is by and by the better option
But if your wagon is a dd and a bit of a basher at the same time then a arb is a good choice as well

Mechanical lockers are good value for money. Suzolla sells Sparten lockers.
