WTB - Factory 80 series lockers

Post by Jay »

Hey all,

Anyone got any factory front & rear lockers for an 80 series they might want to part with? Mate just purchased an unlocked one and wants to fit them.

Doubt my luck, but thought I would put the question out there...

Cheers!

Need to remember that you need the diff housings as well as there are different for open and locked diff heads.

I don't have a set, but make sure he picks up the loom from the front diff to the firewall with the plug on it, the factory switch and difflock relay box (located in the passengers footwell on the a pillar). Reason being is the wiring is already there to plug everything straight in. In terms of the rear the wiring may or may not be there. I put the pins into the rear body loom plug and ran 5 core trailer wire to the rear diff to get it working. You can swap the whole loom in but that was way too much effort for me.

The factory workshop manual is available online and is your friend!
