KZN130 no 4WD - Transfer Indicator Switch ?

My KZN130 with that 'great' push button 4WD A.D.D. system does not engage in 4WD anymore. with help of posts in this forum and a UK based HiLux Surf forum I went thru all the possible parts of the system. vacuum is all working, no lines or hoses blocked. now I found this part. it looks damaged, seems to be the Transfer Indicator Switch, right ? or what is it ? is it part of all the sensors and switches in the A.D.D. system ?





can I just screw that one out and replace it with a new one or do I have to be careful because of oil running or possible metal shavings falling out ?

Not had my ifs for ages now..... if its the position sensor ...when you take it out oil will propably come out ...where exactly onthe diff is this plug
