So a friend of mine has a 94 Terrano with the petrol V6...
He is having fueling trouble going around right hand corners. Will be going fine and then coming out of a good right hand corner it will surge and then be ok again. Trouble only presents itself when the tank is below half full.
I instantly thought he had an issue with the fuel pump pick up. But today I got right up in there and didnt find anything at all that seems to be the problem. No split in the pick up line. No shit blocking the gauze filter. Nothing. Tank is clean as too.
There was pressure in the pressure line when I pulled the fuel lines off the top before removing the pump from the tank. But how much I dont know.
So Im at a bit of a loss.
My thinking at the moment is the pump is a bit tired and is not developing the pressure it should.
Or at some stage the incorrect pump for this model has been installed in the tank and the pick up is not sitting where it should be
Any help would be much appreciated
Cheers
David

Yea from what I saw today it is. Was reading 1/4 full and when I pulled the pump out the fuel level was still above the well in the bottom of the tank.
