You can try, but its doubtful Id say. Sidewalls are a bit of a no no. :(

Easy, I had a tyre repaired that had half a horseshoe sticking out of it. It still balanced up ok too.
SWB V6 Paj with one or two mods ;)

Big value tyres in napier do vulcanising repairs, it's really only a spare tyre now though. I don't think the wof man will be keen on it
Its better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

anybody know of places in christchurch that do vulcanizing ? dont mind keeping as spare

Quite a few moons ago, I got Tyre General on Treffers Rd in Hornby to fix a slash in the sidewall. Big patch on the inside then vulcanised the cut. Ended up with quite a lump of solid rubber on the outside the sidewall that gets mentioned at WOF's every now and then. Worth having a chat with them, they will soon tell you if it's repairable if they still do it.

ITS on main south road did a tyre for me ages ago. i am going to be heading there today to see about the sidewall on my 35 bfg that got a screwdriver through the treadblock and out through the sidewall. Will let you know how i get on

well the answer for mine is no as the screw driver was so fat it damaged the cords. they did also say that they don't really do any sidewall repairs. but hey its worth giving it a try.
