fitted a 1KZ-te in place of a 2L-te

I have replaced a 2L-te with a 1KZ-te on my surf (1992), have managed getting and fitting all the bits and pieces and have also started and tested the vehicle.
My problem is lack of power and not sure where the problem is , however my clues
1)Computer for 1KZ fitted is for auto gearshift whilst vehicle has a Manual box
2)Not wired correctly , and from what i have seen the looms is exactly the same , just had to change one of the connectors on the CPU.

Anybody who can advice on the way forward will be highly appreciated.
