Revs Drop when turning when stationary

Post by a80crewza »

My revs drop a little bit when turning my wheel if i'm not moving. I tend to rev it up a bit to help the p/s pump. Is this normal? its an 80 series and on 35s. thanks.

Usually the idle control on the engine should speed it up if it dips under load eg. turning the wheels. This relates to petrols, don't know how diesels do this.
