Lowering a ruf hilux

I have a ln106 hilux which i have had rug conversion with cross over steering put in it. truck is on 35s but id like to have it on 31s for towing the boat but hate the look of the truck with them on, is there any way of changing springs or will the crossover steering hit on the leafs?

You could try getting a reverse eye main leaf made up, that would drop it a bit but still maintain spring arch.
