Hi All,
Have a 2000 2.8d Challenger with recent transmission problems, any help would be much appreciated.
Slow to engage in the morning
Slips out of gear at a stop and takes 5s to engage when trying to accelerate.
Neutral light flashes from time to time.
No noise from trans and shifts happily all other times.
This has just started happening over the past 2 days.
Trans fluid dirty but right level when hot.
Got Kasper Transmission to have a look reckon it could be a pump seal issue, have quoted 3k.
Has anyone tackled a replacement box themselves, any secondhand units out there? Or is there an easy fix!!
Look forward to hearing from anyone.
Cheers in advance!
