Arb air locker not working Help

Post by Weeds »

Hi guys

My arb air locker doesn't seam to be working there doesn't seam to be air leaks when I turn the compresser on it charges up and cuts out as per normal then a flick of of the air locker switch and compresser starts up again but never shuts back off and when you turn off the air locker switch it doesn't go swwwwisssshhh like it use to. Any ideas on how or where I would start looking ???????

sounds like air leak after the valve.
engage the locker then check for leak. could be leaking air in the diff housing.

yep air leak after compressor....most likely in air line.... hopefully not inside diff as you will then have to remove it to fix.

disconnect the air line off the valve on the locker side and actuate, if air come out valve ok, find the diff breather, activate the locker and see if air comes out of the breather, if so a seal internally has blown.

which is a remove to repair
