I bought my flaring kit from Chevpac Machinery in Auckland for $39.20

Autostop do fittings and hard line, but I think they're auckland only.

Hi Mike, for brake lines (pipe) try BNT, or SafeRbrakes, both will help you light'n your pocket. Check the quality of the pipe as some of it has a seam that is inclined to split when flared. The flaring tool ? do you want to buy or borrow? PM me if you want to borrow one.

Make sure that you make the correct flare, there is a single or a double flare.

Seen a pipe flaring tool at Supercheap, don't know about quality but if it does the job there shouldn't be too much that could go wrong....
