WTD Landcruiser Split Case Transfer

Post by NickReid »

Hi Guys,

After a Split Case to go behind an H55F going into my 40.
Would prefer later 38mm idler, and transfer mounted parking brake (this is pretty rare, so may be dreaming). Manual shift preferred, not vacuum.

Don't mind if it needs bearings/seals etc but gears must be good.

Anyone got one?

Cheers

Nick

I think you might be struggling with what you want
38mm were later model with axle handbrake set ups
And vacuum front output engagement

Reasonably certain that a rear output off a earlier 34mm box will fit onto the 38mm box just beed to check the shims etc.

You will need to mod the later box to get manual engage for the front thou

Yeah, pretty flexible with what i want actually, Vacuum can be converted to Manual - drill, tap add detent ball and spring, change shift rod. Pretty easy.

I have a disc brake rear with no handbrake, will either need a Tcase with parking brake or go to one of the aftermarket tcase disc setups
