Refiting water pump

I'm doing up the moter and have the full gasket set and when refitting the water pump want to know what you folk use on the gasket or do you refit it dry ??

i have never used gaskets before, i jus cover it in sealant and it does the job fine

i allways put a thin film of gasket goo on both sides of the gasket when i do a water pump as the last thing i wanna be doing after i run up an engine to pressure test the coolant system...is have a f#%king leak on the water pump that ive just replaced.
