Ok I know there is a lot of this on here n I have scrolled tru a fair bit but here goes! bear with me.
Now I have 3 transfers 2x are the simple cased 410 (I think) T-cases that count 2.5 turns of the imput to 1 turn on the output in low range.
Now the 3rd counts the same despite being removed from a 413...(has a wire and plug and a more detailed casing.
What should it read as a 413 t-case?
Or is it a later model 410?
Help! And thanks in advance
Transfers
Re: Transfers
The early model 410 transfers were different to the 413 transfers and are a bit hard to fit to a 413, but the later model ones looked the same 4wd light switch etc and are quite easy to fit so very possible your zuk has this case.
Re: Transfers
How can I tell for sure what it is cas ultimately id like too build the "rock lobster box"
And as I understand the early simple case ones cannot be made too do this

Re: Transfers
You can tell by turning the flanges in low range , but the difference is slight between the cases.
Essayist way to find a 410 case with light is the look for the smaller square sided flanges for the drive shafts .
Best way is to open the case and count the gears .
IMHO to make a rock lobster is not cost effective theses days .
Given the cost of having the gears machined and welded , not to mention cost of cases and rebuild .
You can just buy the required counter gear for a 4.16 case from Lowrange Offroad for cheaper than the machining costs .
