hilux rev counter not working

Post by sawyer »

My rev counter has never worked since ive owned the truck. I want to get it to work its a 1989 ln106 3l. I am aware of the pick up from the diesel pump. but my pump only has the one wire for the solinoid. Is there something else that sends it?

My 1989 LN106 3L had the rev counter stop working, it was caused by dry solders on the back of the dash.
I got it fixed by having an auto electrician resolder the connections on the back of the dash.

Here is a link for the feed to the rev counter
