Do I need to empty Oil Catch can

I am doing an oil change and have an oil catch can. Do I need to empty it at every oil change or will it be fine to leave it alone? How would I empty it if it needs emptying?

Yes you will need to empty it if it contains any oil. As for getting it out. Some have a tap on the bottom. Or you will have to take it out and empty it.
You should check how much oil is being collected and empty as required....
