ORE Classifieds

Hi All,

Given the prices on trademe for selling stuff is there a need for classifieds to be fixed up and returned to ORE? Or are people ok with using the 4wd facebook buy/sell/swap stuff? I'd probably make it site supporters can post them and anyone view them. (It is only $20 a year and you can sell/list as much as you want). The main reason will keep the spammers from spamming it.

I think it makes more sense here. At least with supporters you know who they really are. I don't like Facebook buy/sell.

Yup - I'd be keen to post stuff on here instead - Trademe fee's are getting a bit stupid.

I personally would much prefer buying something on here than Facebook.

Would like to list here, good bit of selling/trading already happens on the offroadexpress facebook page, also the 4WD Parts/Trucks Swap/Buy pages on facebook are getting lots of members, and some of the crap is culled out of it actively, eg links directly to trademe, mongrol mob members etc. keeps pretty clean and you can stalk the person you're buying from

Those facebook groups are good but I guess not everyone is on facebook or at least in those groups and not on here.

I'll resurrect the classifieds and find somewhere for them to live, maybe randomly just appearing under the menu or something equally hideous
