FS: NEW Runva EWX9500-Q 12v Winch NEW

Post by launcht »

Recently purchaced this 9500lb Runva winch, never taken out of box, everything still in its plastc packaging. Box opened for photos

Awesome winch! Would keep but selling as my copilot (the Mrs) doesnt want to have to man handle the steel cable and has put her foot down. (anyone after a new copilot haha)

$600ono

Based in auckland on the shore and can meet within the shore or up orewa for colloction. Or ship at your expence, the box is very heavy so would imagine shipping will be expensive

Text or Pm me 02102561989

Cheers

What happens if she breaks a nail using a shackle on a synthetic rope?

Understand from safety point of view. Good call. Always listen to your Mrs. Consequences can be damaging.

If you dont maintain you equipment like inspect your cable or use the appropriate accessories ie dampeners, gloves and what not then yeah there is a possibilty things can go bad

Be aware that the speed of the 12000LB one will be a lot slower than the 9500 one. they are geared down to make them pull more. I had a 12000 now gone for a 9500 as I can throw a pulley in the mix to reduce the load if need be. Its easier to slow a 9500LB one down for heavier pulls than it is to get a 12000lb one to go faster on the easier pulls. :D

I would have just changed the wire to synthetic rope rather than changing the whole thing.
