is there a fj40 idler arm rebuild kit ?
if so where from.

they are adjustable and yes there is a kit for them(just a seal and a bit of felt), available from apex or repco or there somewhere. not a lot too them really,adjust it up to take the play out of it first,grease it.

There is a full rebuild kit available, it comes with a new tapered bush and shaft etc. Last price, 5 years ago was about $130

i have two idler arm setups i have adjusted both, one has slop in the joint when wound right down, the other has a bit of slop then the next couple of turns nearly locks up the steering.
going to repco or other in the morning for a kit :(
