Anyone heard of this pipe thread?
Anyone heard of this pipe thread?
So I brought an ancient but 'new' fuel pressure regulator in the hope of helping setup my ancient but 'new' SU carb conversion. It is designed for the old copper fuel lines with imperial fittings so I need to get some hose tails to plumb it in. The manual describes the inlet/outlet as 1/8th A.N.P. what the heck is that in modern fitting threads? I discovered it is american national pipe, so would it be the same as NPT? Or did I get conned and it doesn't exist anymore haha

Re: Anyone heard of this pipe thread?
A.N.P 1/8th was used on fords like the XY/XF Xd falcon/ fairlanes cleveland V8's
holden /GM used BSP dunno why ford went oddball.
NPT is for non critical applications (how delivering a flammable liquid safley is not critical i dont know)
ANP is accordingling compatible with NPT but requires a sealand of some sort. (go figure)
npt is national pipe thread, different to American national pipe. i do have a chart around somewhere, ill post it up
