22nd-23rd Nov

Post by catalystracing »

Finished the spotlight mount for the truck, will ad a couple small LEDs to shine onto winch drum, for those late in the dark unexpected recoveries.....

The spots are more floods, with 60 deg angle, 27 watt, IP 67, I put 4 on because 2 just looked lonely
I have 10 of these LED lights if anyone keen, nice stainless brackets and bolts included. $40 +postage each.

Moved the aerial to the bar also, off the guard which just got hammered all the time.

Now to put the gear box back together, get the extractors fitted with a flange, then get it moving

Q: How much crap can you fit in the back of a Rugger?
A: Quite a bit, rear springs weren't too happy about it though!

Wow crazy effort with the Rugger!!!
This weekend, I drove the Surf 1200kms(total), towing a car trailer and a toyota Soarer, To mere mere for the drags(unopened 1jz ran 11s on stock turbos), continued to north shore to pick up my new i/cooled Mistral. Plans are for an EGT gauge,an idler arm brace, then a 2.5" exhaust,or bigger maybe? To add even more ORE flavour, i borrowed the car trailer from an ORE member, and also picked up some SIMEX tires for an ORE member(ORE courier service).

Ahh Thairand. An excellent place for 'tourism' and they are so affordable, you can have like a dozen or more over 2 nights and it only costs 50 bucks or so.

The beers that is. The beers are cheap

And makers of the '92 Camry, where you got your first backseat handjob.
