y60 saf auto issues
Hey guys I'm new here and just after a few opinions, I've got a lwb td42 safari with the auto trans, it drives sweet as and shifts fine apart from when I wanna overtake or get up hills, either it won't kick down or if it does it goes into a higher gear and just slips and revs like its in neutral, overdrive is also working sweet and when I take overdrive off to try kick it down it also just goes into a really high gear and slips, any thoughts?

sounds like a rebuild may be on the cards

Ughh, it'll be going to the scrap man if it comes to a rebuild and a manual box will be taking its place haha
