Broke my pitman arm on my mitsi, got out of the river with cable ties and a ratchet strap :)

Ill raise you a detatched front left. on the up side i've been waiting for a reason to SAS it.

tore out the steering and even damaged the calmini upper A arm and bent the shock..I suspect the A arm wasn't going to last too long anyway looking at that.

Nasty! I just found there was only one bolt left in the top LH balljoint , and I think I know why i have a knocking cv joint :oops:

went for a cruise. out mangaweka/taihape ways.
attempted kaweka rd but got a bit confused about the direction and the mrs wasn't happy about where I was thinking to go (didn't have maps on me) so turned back. turns out I was going the right way. hahah
then cruised up ridge rd south.
jokers that live at the end of ridge rd reckoned there was an impassable slip but i didn't see it!
nice 2wd road at this time of year. didn't even need to put me jandals on to open the gates that the mrs couldn't.

New area at the palace.......called The Bemuda Triangle, made 2 windows just disappear. Shame it's due for felling this week :(

Best part is the old spare wheel carrier nuts are there still. Nothing a chain and a tractor can't fix :mrgreen:

gave up on removing main pulley on the safari,brought a kettle for the truck, so there one in there when we want one, instead of did you , thought you did , :roll: :oops:
89 safari, pto winch, 33x15 simexs. sliders,75mm lift . turbo intercoolered
