have got a slight problem with my truck... its a two wheel drive at the moment :evil: . i put my truck into a hole today only to find out that it the front wheels wouldnt spin?... i had put it in 4wd and hub lock. when i got home i jacked up the truck and the drive shaft still turns but the wheels wont. i have heard that the toyota electic hubs stop working after a while is this what has happened to me or something worse :?: :?: . there is also a slight click coming from one hub area.
toymota thats stock standard.

When you push the hub switch, you should here the little electric motors working for about 5 seconds.
The one that has no sound, undo the end cap, and see if the sliding dog is in the retracted or free mod.
When removing the end cap, pull it straight out, DON'T twist it .
Its a major job to reassemble it.
The clicking could be a broken CV

If its the hubs, I know a bloke who can help fix the problem!

I have my old set available if you want to get them converted to manual, then give me your old ones. Save having the truck off the road
