Rock Sliders

So thinking of building a set for my Saf. Do they require cert? Bolt on or weld? Cheers!

Welding will need a cert just bolt em on. There's 2 common methods:

- U Bracket around chassis with 2 x HT Bolts w/ Nylocs at top

- Two flat Plates slightly larger than & either side of Chassis rail with 4 x HT Bolts w/ Nylocs (2 top, 2 bottom)

Repeat for each mount. 8)

if you decide to weld them weld brackets onto the chassis so you can unbolt and remove/straighten/replace/modify the sliders you wont regret it in the long run it beats getting the grinder out :D

Looks like im going to go and to bolt on ones with u-brackets. Seems as simple as, and will do the job. Also can be unbolted and modded/fixed easily as derk said. Always a plus!

Here is a pic of mine before after I painted them. I used a bit of box section to go up inside where the front body mount is and braced that and the u brackets gave jacked off them dropped the whole vehicle on them and they don't move.
The angle bracing was an after thought
