HI,and welcome. I'm in the manawatu, but don't get out much due to being self employed farmer. There is a few around the district. Some of the more prominent/active would be Crash Bandicoot(levin), Mehrts(Ohakea), Reds Driver(Palmy), who you can contact via this forum. "Cameron" is lurking nearby with his Land rover 109 too. There was plenty of well set up trucks on "the north range road" trip we went on last year, so there is a few experienced guys out there. There is a 4wd club that meets monthly in Palmy too, from memory.
Do you intend to get yourself another 4wd and join in the fun?

Hello and thanks for the reply I will be getting another just as soon as the house is finished will probably get a jimny as I spent loads on my other 4x4s in uk and my mate had a little suzuki and allways had the upper hand over me... I have found things are on the more expensive side here so will be importing few bits from the uk other wise I cant see myself getting out there any time soon .. ill look up the guys you hhave mentioned on here and find more info on the palmy group ? Where abouts are you farming too ? My missus parents are looking to sell off some cows soon ? :D

Welcome man, Manawatu 4wd club would probably be your best bet, Facebook is the easiest way to contact them, they meet on the 3rd Wednesday every month at 7:30pm at the Awapuni Community Hall , Newbury Ave Palmerston North
