Hi. Got a issue with a friends 2000 pajero 3.5 gdi. They brought this not long ago for good money and has shit the high pressure fuel pump on the motor and also some injectors. Has been pulled down buy mitsubishi workshop in parmy at a cost of 1000 bucks to find these problems. Quoted 6000 bucks to fix with new parts from mitsubishi.
# I've found injectors online a lot cheaper but I'm having a hard time with the high pressure fuel pump. So
1 ; can they be rebuilt and at what cost?
2 ; second hand item from wreaker at what cost?
3 ; anyone have one on here for sale?
4 ; can they've imported from over sea cheaper. Have heard you can get cheap out of ozzie.
Any help or info would be great help cheers

Re: Pajero gdi issues
A new crate motor is less then that. It was cheaper to put a brand new motor in my 2003RA rodeo then fix the old one. Holden charged 3800 for the engine and it was 750 to put it in.
Waiter...there is a drought in my glass.

Yeh it look very much so that a replacement motor would be the easy way to go. Glad I don't own a gdi pajero.
