94 nissan terrano lift
Anyone out there know of anybody lifting a 94 nissan terrano. Have already swapped suspension for OME lifting it about 2" but looking for more. Want to eventually run 33" on it.
you can get body lift kits for pathfinders/terranos up to 1995, but only in the USA. they do them up to 3" and provide all the mount for radiator etc. check out the 2 links below.

Sory for late reply, I got it from the local ARB supplier. Consisted of coils for the rear and nitrocharged shocks all round. Have thought about aftermarket torsion bars but I have since found out how to tweak the original more.
Hey, i should have thought of this earlier, check out http://www.nissanpathfinders.com There is a wealth of knowledge in there, and being an American based site, bigger is better!!!!!!
By the way, i was was running 32 x 9.5 Simex's on my Terrano (33.4 x 10.8 when measured from the tread) and all i had was a 2" sus lift. Minimal rubbing, only from the back wheels, not the front.
Front
Rear:
Altogether now;
And you may want to think about somthing like this:
It Protected the engine and gear box sump, as a replacement engine sump from the wreckers cost me big $$$$$$$
Pete.

I'm not trying to be funny, & I know its part of the fun to modify vehicles, but wouldn't it be better if you wanted to get into serious 4WDing to sell a Terrano & replace with a Patrol/Safari?
You get the much stronger & more capable bean axle front suspension, better protected transmission, sump etc & also the ability to fit 32 or 33" tyres with no suspension/body work.
Any reasoning behind sticking with a Terrano??
Cheers

My thoughts exactly. I had probs with steering, gearbox, and the approach angle. Other than that, it was an awsome little truck, it went more places than a standard Hilux would!!!!
But yes, i have a Patrol now, you must have seen th photo's. I have decided you can't really compare the two, they are different in so many ways. The Terrano is so much more versitile than the Patrol, in that it was comfy on the road, light, narrow, able to take big tyres, plenty of power, you could sleep in it, cheap on diesel, cheap to maintain, plenty of parts at the wreckers, and so on.
The Safari is wide, very heavy, very expensive to run, hard to get parts from wreckers in the sth island, can't sleep in it, costs $60 to fill, takes 10.2 liters of oil every change, and its just to damn big. If it wasn't for my winch, i would be banned from club trips im sure!!!

Reasons for the Terrano over a Safari.
1. Neede a long wheel base for the family and dog, Safari LWB too danm heavy.
3. Terrano oh so comfortable on and off road.
4. Safari seats dig in under my ribs when off road.
5. Price of a well set up LWB Safari too expensive.
6. Terrano lighter to winch using the tirfor.
7. Safari too wide for my liking. Such a big exterior, where does all the room go because it is cramped on the inside.
8. My mate in Ozzie had a Pathfinder (Terrano) and it was an awesome truck.
9. The Terrano can go anywhere, I know because I really push it.
Albundy.

And oh the potential!!!
Front:
spring buckets, located on frame stand offs (this eliminated the necessity to shorten the axles) spring buckets were from a 76 ford F150. Radius arm mounts, Custom. I used 5 deg bushing for the radius arms. Then i had to locate the radius arm mounts at the proper angel to keep my castor angle correct. Springs are 5.5" wildhorse rock crawler series. These are normally for Early bronco.
HPD44 axle
Rear,
Unless you have are very good in math, know somebody who is a geometry wize, who can fabricate anything necessary, and you have the formula to calculate it all.... Don't even try to do a triangulated 4 link. its not easy! (My job is custom fabrication of Heavy and specialty equipment) rear spring are 3.5" wild horse rock crawler series. They are located on 4 in stand offs from the axle.
Ford 9" axle
I have a 3 inch body lift installed. before i started I was running 30" tires, and had 13.5 inches of frame clearance. I know have nearly 24.5"
I also have a custom Hand throttle, so i don't have to do the 2 foot 3 peddle shuffle.
I remind you ITS NOT DONE!!!
