Cracked head Surf 3L D

Post by gary »

Hi all - unbelievable, the tuff as old boots 1994 Hilux Surf 3l diesel with 228K km on the clock has a cracked head. Asking around it seems "they all do it".

So can anyone recommend a fixer of Toyota heads at the top of the south (Motueka), a recon engine supplier or any other magic wand.

Thanks in advance . . . Gary

Thanks - I get most of my life off of TM - but didn't think to look there. Really I want to put it into a workshop and pick it up fixed. Am hoping to find local experience for head or engine swap.
