toyota factory elec winches?

am looking at geting one off a surf for my surf. are they any good? what would you pay for one?

If mr Toyota has put his name on it you'd expect it's herritage to be ok, I know they made an electric high mount like the 8274's and stuck them on cruisers, dunno what other electric winches they made or supplied. So long as it's rated at 8000 pounds or more and the price is right it sounds ok.

if its the little baby factory one that some surfs came in with then ignore it unless its really cheap... they are only really any good as an ATV winch... too little, too gutless. Any other Toyota winches (hi-mount or 80-series) are good...
